Have a beautiful Christmas :)

"A warm glow could be seen through the icy windows of a small cottage, as gentle snowflakes fell from an overcast sky. Church bells chimed softly in the distance. This charming Christmas Eve was met with a peaceful breeze that floated through the valley. The breeze rustled a small ivy wreath, laced with bells, on the cottage door. A lone sign, beautifully painted with reds and oranges, stood covered in a thick layer of snow, making the words unreadable. The cottage’s bushes and small trees had been decorated with a large number of lights, making the layer of snow on top of them multicoloured. This ideal Christmas scene would have been perfect, if it hadn’t been for the absence of one person in particular." Harry Potter

Summer Job:-)

Finally I got the contract:-) surprise, surprise, I'll be working as a teacher at Bell summer camp in Sobieszewo near Gdansk, imagine the sightseeing:-) (3maisto) It will be more like going home than going to work. At least my mother is happy I'll be close to her for the first time in the last 3 years!!! The mere idea of the distance makes her happy. As for the job, I'll spend there 1 month, in the first two weeks I'll be teaching English and in the remaining two I'll be teaching PE; can't wait!!!!

Mother's Day wishes

To honor Mother's Day, here are some things I'd like to see:

  • More help for foster mothers, who take on the difficult but vital challenge of sheltering troubled, abandoned or disabled kids.

  • Better health care for mothers everywhere. In developing countries, scores of women die from lack of basic prenatal care. Society can and must improve this record.

  • Prayers for military moms, who live with worry -- and grief, all too often -- over their sons and daughters. (I still don't understad why Poland decided to go to Iraq)

  • Safe, reliable, affordable day care, so mothers who work -- and that's most of them -- don't have to be so torn between family and economic needs.

  • Tee n drivers buckling their seat belts, so moms can breathe a little easier.

  • Deeper mental-health services, so mothers with troubled children don't lose them to suicide.

  • At least one moment of happiness, relaxation and peace, every day, for every mom.

I love you mom:-) Thanks for everything!!!
